Situated in the heart of the wine growing region of La Geria, and surrounded by numerous volcanoes, this lavishly renovated 19th century Bodega offers some exciting contrasts. The historical architecture has been complemented with a sensible, modern, almost sacral interior that perfectly harmonizes designer classics and contemporary Art.

Great emphasis was placed on environmental protection in the renovation of this beautiful country finca and now the house is almost completely self-sustaining through wind and solar energy conversion and the use of cisterns in the gathering of rain water.

Behind main walls a metre thick and situated around a central inner courtyard, is the lofty, light flooded lounge with a ceiling that rises seven metres high. There is a bedroom on the lounge gallery with its own terrace that offers some spectacular views. The region is home to many wineries and one of the best known Bodegas Los Bermejos is found right opposite.

The area is popular for various leisure activities including hiking tours, mountain biking and cycling tours. Several routes start right at the house (a mountain bike and a racing bike, both Scott Carbon Fibre are at the guests disposal)

The best beaches of the island are within 15 minutes by car, Famara being particularly popular amongst surfers.
