The Torre Verda mansion is an enchanting hidden gem nestled in the heart of Caldes d'Estrac, just 35 kilometers north of Barcelona in the Maresme region. This historic estate boasts a medieval tower, erected in 1549 to fend off Ottoman pirates, and is enveloped by picturesque gardens offering panoramic vistas of the sea. It stands as a truly unique haven, blending history and nature seamlessly with the local way of life.
Location and Surroundings:
The Torre Verda mansion is discreetly tucked away in Caldes d'Estrac, a charming village renowned for its thermal springs, providing a perfect winter retreat for relaxation and well-being. It is situated less than a 10-minute stroll from the famous Paseo de los Ingleses, a pristine, lengthy sandy beach dotted with numerous beach bars. These local establishments offer year-round activities, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, the nearby market offers an array of natural products, and the train station is just a five-minute walk away.
Your stay at this villa grants you access to a private living area on the terrace, adjacent to a swimming pool and a delightful Mediterranean garden adorned with lemon and olive trees. Here, you can relish barbecues, beverages, and sports activities with your loved ones or friends, creating the perfect setting for a leisurely seaside retreat.
Upon entering through the main doorway, a splendid hall welcomes you, offering access to stairs leading to various levels of the mansion.
First Floor: Here, you'll find three exquisite bedrooms and two bathrooms:
A spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a generous closet, offering private access to a charming terrace with sea views. You can almost reach out and touch the medieval tower from this vantage point! (An additional bed or crib can be added).
Two double bedrooms, one with terrace access, and the other with a large window. These two rooms share a bathroom.
Second Floor: This level encompasses:
Another en-suite room featuring a spacious bathroom and a double bed that can be converted into two singles.
Three additional double rooms with two shared bathrooms (with the option to add an extra bed or crib).
A laundry room equipped with a washing machine and ample storage space.
Ground Floor: The central living room on the ground floor offers a dining area, a welcoming fireplace surrounded by comfortable sofas, and a reading nook with garden and sea views. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts a refrigerator, freezer, pantry area, dishwasher, and a separate entrance.
During your holiday at Torre Verda, you'll have access to a private terrace overlooking the garden, furnished with a large table and chairs.
Please note that access to the medieval tower next to the main house is available by special request.
