Keep in mind that in the height of summer, high temperatures can make the journey less comfortable at certain times of the day. To explore the island, the best option is to have your own vehicle (car or motorbike), as this offers greater comfort and flexibility, as well as access to beaches and more remote areas that are not served by public transport. Alaior has a bus service that connects with other towns on the island, although with limited schedules.
