Summary: I have been in many places in Corsica but this was really the highlight of my trip. Very small lovely hotel with 5 rooms only in a very small village (10 people) on top of the mountains around 25 minutes from Corte. I arrived last minute (not planned) and the welcome by the landlord and his wife was top notch. I would say: you have not been to the real profound Corsica if you have not had this experience at Casa du Lucia. But this is my opinion of course ! It really depends what you are looking for. The service in the morning was also excellent. My only regret was that I could not stay one more night because all my other hotels were paid/reserved. There is also a possibility to walk in the mountains (with a futur guide soon). This is perfect for one that loves nature. People are very friendly in the village. I was alone and talked to many residents. They were all very nice people. It is a place for relaxing a couple of days. Accommodations are very comfortable and the food is excellent. All of this with a lot of culture if you talk to the landlord who is also an excellent painter.
