Positive: Nice pool and setting. The villa was in the hills on a scenic but twisty, long drive from Cordoba.

Negative: Poor quality appliances. The dishwasher was broken but luckily was promptly replaced. The oven controls were a mystery. There was no toaster. There was scant welcome information such as maps, guide books or recommendations which would have been really helpful as we felt quite isolated having arrived quite late in the evening with no provisions. The main bedroom did not have air conditioning, only the upstairs bedrooms. The property slept eight but there were only two old sunloungers which were dirty and generally in need of replacing. Had we been travelling with children, I would have been worried by the lack of life ring at the pool which is next to the children’s play area. The villa just seemed very tired and in need of attention.
