Located in the western part of the city, the area is home to the lovely Parc de Cervantes and the world-famous Camp Nou stadium, home ground for the Barcelona FC soccer team. There is a variety of shopping and dining along Avinguda Diagonal, as well as along the smaller streets that branch of the avenue.
Elegant Pedralbes is characterized by elegant villas on tree-lined streets. The neighborhood is the setting for renowned architect Antoni Gaudí's Güell Pavilions, which sit at the entrance to the Jardines de Pedralbes. Another neighborhood highlight is the Gothic-style Monasterio de Pedralbes.
