The open-plan space includes a charming dining area, with table and comfy chairs that seat two by the window. It also makes for the perfect work space as it’s a peaceful room and you will have high-speed wifi throughout the apartment. If you want to cook up a meal or two, you’ll find everything you need in the stylish fully-equipped kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use, and include a kettle, toaster and a microwave. Freshen up in the modern bathroom - wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower. You will enjoy the best of Catalonia’s modernism by walking through its streets, shops, and cafés and get ready to be astonished by some of Gaudí’s most beautiful works such as Casa Milà and Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gracia. Verdi is one of the most popular streets, so be sure to take some time to visit it, and if you arrive during August you can enjoy the vibrant neighborhood festival. The area is famed for its trendy bohemian vibe, and the fact that it’s home to a collection of artists is reflected through the types of cafes and bars you’ll find here. Wander down the small alleyways and you’ll happen across intimate drinking spots and boutique fashion stores. It’s a world away from the commercial streets of Eixample, but still within easy reach. Try Châtelet for some cocktails in an alternative and colorful environment or step back in time at Old Fashioned where barmen in white shirts and braces will serve you one of the best gin and tonics you’ve ever tried. For a bite to eat, Restaurante Mi Gracia is a highly-recommended Argentinian restaurant worth a visit, and so is the gluten-free Gut. Meanwhile, if you’re craving some Italian food, check out Macchina Pasta Bar for some delicious traditional dishes. This connects you to the L5 - blue line and the L4 - yellow line, meaning you can get to iconic Barcelona sites in no time at all, such as the lovely Barceloneta, the Gothic neighborhood of the train station Sants. There are also plenty of buses such as the 191, 192 and V23 that stop just down the street and that will take you all over the city. If you come through the airport, the easiest way will be for you can take the Airbus bus that will take you to Plaza Catalunya stop and then take a taxi to the flat, it will be only 10 minutes from here. You may occasionally hear noise from neighbouring apartments, as most buildings in Barcelona aren’t soundproofed! Check-in time is at 3 pm. Please note that a late check in will require the payment of an extra fee as per the following: - From 20:00hrs: €20 - From 22:00h: €25 - From 00:00h: €40 This fee will be collected at check-in and must be paid by card.
