Positive: The host was responsive and very courteous. The location was very good and close to all areas we wanted to visit. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was clean. Towels and linens were provided.

Negative: While the apartment had some positives, there were a few issues that impacted our overall experience. Firstly, there was only one AC unit in the living room area which did not cool any of the bedrooms. Unfortunately, the outside temp was around 100 during this timeframe. Secondly, the privacy in both bathrooms was a concern. One bathroom features a sliding glass door that, unfortunately, offers no privacy from the adjoining bedroom, rendering it largely ineffective. In the other bathroom, a window between it and the adjacent bedroom also meant a complete lack of privacy. It was disappointing to note that this is an easy fix, such as frosted vinyl on the glass, that has been suggested by previous guests but has not yet been addressed. Thirdly, a persistent and very strong unpleasant odor coming from the apartment across the landing. This smell was so bad that we often had to hold our breath when entering and exiting the apartment. At times, the odor was even noticeable right inside our apartment door. Adding to this, the resident of that apartment left trash, not in bags, on the landing, which likely contributed to the smell. We later saw this particular issue had been mentioned in another review, which we unfortunately missed. We passed the older female resident of the apartment in the stairwell, and it was obvious from the odor that she had not bathed in quite some time. We also noticed that she could only open the door enough to climb in due to the stuff she has in the apartment. We mentioned the trash and the smell to the host and were told the resident has a mental health problem. We hope that someone will get her the assistance she needs.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and visit while in Cordoba even with the issues we encountered.
