Positive: Picturesque and very cosy stay in the beautiful Canet d’Adri, only a few minutes’ drive from Girona. The lovely 17th–18th century farmhouse has preserved its charm and was beautifully reinvented with the handwork of the host Montse and her husband. The hosts truly made us feel welcome and very well cared for at all times, with thoughtful personal touches that made our honeymoon feel special. We were warmly welcomed with a homemade paella and wine upon arrival, an unexpected and very generous gesture, and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast the next morning. The firewood hot tub at night while looking at the stars was a wonderful experience. Bonus was meeting the friendly donkeys and the local chickens.
