The completion of this project also highlights their eco-responsible approach, as the cabin comes from a supplier in the Dordogne region, the wood for the interior was sourced locally, and the insulation is made of wood and plant-based wool. Facing the mountains, while sipping tea on your terrace, you can plan an active holiday right from the cabin: the GR78 hiking trail passes just a few hundred meters away; the Pic du Gar and Pic du Cagire are very close; 600km of mountain biking trails, several starting from the village; and Lake Saint-Pé-d'Ardet is 7km away. Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges (one of the most beautiful villages in France) is 11.7 km away, Montréjeau (train station, swimming lake, and golf course) is 15.7 km away; the Mourtis ski resort is 40 minutes away and the Luchon ski resort is 35 minutes away. Spain is 35 minutes away. Farm sales are available 400 m away (cheese, meat, etc.), and there is a market in Sauveterre on Sunday mornings and in Aspet (14.8 km) on Saturdays.
