Summary: We chose this hotel as part of a family holiday, having enjoyed previous stays here. Unfortunately, our most recent experience fell short of expectations. We were required to change rooms due to a very unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. While we were moved to an upgraded room, which thankfully did not have this issue, the cleanliness was noticeably lacking. There were remnants of used dental floss on the counter, and the overall condition of the room felt untidy, and the TV not working — disappointing for a hotel of this standard. That said, we’ve always appreciated the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere, and one big positive is that it’s dog-friendly, which makes traveling as a family so much easier. We’ve had some great stays in the past, but based on this most recent visit, we’re unsure if we’d return.
