Can Gat Vell is two eighteenth century manor house, restored in six charming accommodation in the beautiful village of Llampaies, Alt Empordà, in the Girona area and near the Costa Brava.

We are situated between Girona (South, 23 km), Figueres (North, 21 km), L'Escala (East, 17 km) and Banyoles (West, 19 km). The volcans region of La Garrotxa is at only 46 km. Border with France at 35mn. Airport Barcelona, at 1h30. Airport Girona, at 30 mn. Train station AVE / TGV in Vilafant, at 25 mn. Ski slopes at 1h50 in La Molina (Pyrenees). Do not forget to visit Cadaqués, Port Lligat, Cap de Creus at about 56 km. We also recommend to spend a whole day in France (Collioure, Carcassonne or Réserve Sigean) as we are at only 35 mn from the border with France.
