Begur, a beautifully preserved mediaeval town, is 90 minutes north of Barcelona, and 45 minutes from Gerona, in the unspoilt portion of the Spanish coast. The three-story house sleeps six comfortably, and has two balconies and four sunny patios. The garden area includes a private pool and a jacuzzi (particularly welcome during off season lets). Sea views from the balconies are superb. Five secluded beaches are accessible by car, with the closest five minutes away. Five excellent golf courses nearby, playable all year round. Begur, with its charming hilltop castle, is within walking distance and has fantastic restaurants and boutiques along its narrow, ancient streets.
